2018 Program.

Enter the 25th Annual Student Art Fest!

Student artwork will be presented by Evans, Geneva, Lawton, Partin, Stenstrom and Walker Elementary Schools;
Jackson Heights and Lawton Chiles Middle Schools; and Hagerty and Oviedo High Schools.

The artwork will be on display at the festival.

Art teachers coordinate and select displays of student art work each year.

Each participating school will receive $50 for their Art Program sponsored by Honorable Mayor Dominic Persampiere.

Seminole Cultural Arts Council sponsors the $250 Best of Show award.

High School 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners receive cash awards sponsored by Oviedo Mower and Garden Center. Additional Honorable Mention Awards and rosette ribbons are also presented.

The Law Office of Timothy A Moran, LLC, sponsors the Student Art Fest programs and ribbons for each participating student.

Since 1994, over $34,600 in scholarships has been awarded to deserving art students in our community.

As part of the Art Fest, the GFWC Oviedo Woman's Club is accepting scholarship applications from graduating high school students from Hagerty and Oviedo High Schools who are intending to pursue further education in fine arts. Scholarships for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year are:

  • $1000 Commissioner Bob Dallari Art Scholarship Awards
  • $750 Sun Terra Communities Art Scholarship Award
  • $500 Commissioner Bob Dallari Art Scholarship Award
