Art Competitions
We are excited to offer competitions ranging from students to professionals.
Vendor Arts & Crafts Competitions will be judged and awarded on Saturday.
Come enjoy the Student Competitions both days!
We are grateful to have support from the Seminole Cultural Arts Council.
Vendor Arts & Crafts Competition
This event is a judged show. Vendors may submit up to three (3) of their favorite pieces.
Awards presented at the Main Stage at noon on Saturday.

Prizes
Best of Show - $500
Fine Arts Division - First Place $250 & Second Place $100
Craft Division - First Place $250 & Second Place $100
Student Art Competition
We have many Seminole County Schools committed to participating in this year's event. We hope your school is one of them! Please plan to visit and view the amazing work of our student artists both days at Great Day in the Country.
Join us Sunday at 2:00pm at the Main Stage for award presentations.
ï‚· Categories are:
Painting, Photography, Drawing, and 3-D Art (pottery, sculpture, etc.)
Levels are:
Elementary (K-5), Middle (6-8) , and High School (9-12)
Contest Details
ï‚· Schools do not need to provide projects in each category
Schools will choose 1 recipient for each of their selected categories
Schools with multiple levels (i.e. K-8) may select 1 recipient per category for one level (i.e. Elementary) and another recipient per category for the other level (i.e. Middle)
ï‚· Paintings, drawings and photography should be no larger than 11" by 14" when matted
ï‚· 3-D art should be no larger than 2' by 2’
ï‚· All projects should include an index size card with the students/name, grade, category and description of project
ï‚· Art drop off is Friday, November 13th any time from 3-6pm in the Hospitality
Room located next to Dillard's at Oviedo Mall and will be displayed inside The Mall
ï‚· Student art may be picked up Sunday, November 15th by 3:00pm
ï‚· Please let us know by October 15th if your school is interested in
participating in this event
